So, Where Is Your Eternity?

I guess at some point in our lives we all make plans for the future. Where we are going to be. Who we want to be with. How we want to be. I guess for some of us our plans stop there and go no further.

But what about what comes after the future? What about eternity? A time with no ending.

Some people have said to me that they were all funeral out last year after attending so many. I have heard about a death of someone I knew or heard about every week of this year, thus the reason behind this post.

For us as believers in Jesus Christ we know where, who, and how we are going to be in eternity.

Do you? Or does it depend on if you believe there is actually an eternity to plan for?

Where Is Your Anchor?

Sometimes our core is broken, that one thing that keeps our heads above water. I have been to points at different times in my life where I tried to convince myself that I was too tired, too unmotivated to try to be positive. That I was too tired to move and take another step to make situations better.

But when I am mentally drained and physically tanked, my spiritual strength kicks in even more. My anchor is in Jesus Christ. And through many years of going through a lot of bad things in my life, he has kept me grounded. I thank him and the people who he has allowed to enter my life to either remind me where my anchor is and to keep me from trying to find another.

So where is your anchor? That one thing that has kept, and is keeping, your head above water.

Straying From Church And Going To God
